I mean, it’s not just about the fancy seats (though those are pretty sweet, especially the front balcony ones where you can really catch all the dance details). Back in 1998, they even hosted a legendary concert by the band Chicago, which was a huge deal and totally put the theatre on the map. Getting there is easy too, just cruise down El Paseo Boulevard, hop onto Highway 111 south, then swing onto Cook Avenue and turn onto Fred Waring Avenue. If you’re wondering about tickets, the theatre’s interactive chart is pretty handy, showing everything from Sergio Mendes’ energetic shows close-up to the classy VIP sections for Capitol Steps fans, and even affordable seats for those who just wanna catch the vibe without breaking the bank.
